Tom Kucera
President and Founder

Tom Kucera is the President and Founder with primary focus on Marketing and Sales. His commitment to better understand and discover improved customer retention techniques that began over a decade ago continues today. He writes articles providing practical retention recommendations for newspaper circulators and addresses newspaper executive conferences to discuss this vital issue. In recent years, he and his business partner, Sandra Tibbetts, have led CLC into new service vistas by opening a new division committed to assisting small businesses in retaining their client base and to locate new sales opportunities.

After retiring from US West in 1993, his interest was piqued by telemarketing as an inexpensive and effective delivery channel. Practical experience gained by working within the industry convinced him there were better ways to use the channel so he founded Customer Loyalty Concepts, Inc. in 1994.  As the company name implies, our expertise is “customer loyalty” based and our value is to help clients build relationships that will result in long-term purchasing patterns. Tom and his wife, Jill, reside in Littleton, Colorado though they still consider themselves natives of Oregon where they spent their childhood and much of their adult lives. The great Northwest still attracts them but their two daughters reside in Colorado with their husbands. Three granddaughters provide a very strong tie that binds them to the Rocky Mountain state.

 

 

Joe George
Vice President of Operations

Joe George is the Vice President of Operations for Customer Loyalty Concepts.  Joe’s function is to direct company needs in recruiting, training, and maintaining a strong daily workforce. His goal is coordinating a successful relationship between the talented workforce of CLC and the needs of the clients in all phases of operations. Keeping the integrity, efficiency and profitability of CLC is his primary concern.

Joe is a native of Colorado and after graduating from Regis College in 1972 he began his business career, owning several restaurants and a flooring company in the Colorado area. He brings over 35 years of business acumen and people management to the company.

Joe and his team have helped to develop and maintain many of the processes that are instrumental in the ever changing operations of the company today. He and his wife reside in Westminster, Co. and enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren along with hobbies of cooking and wine making.

 

Karlyn Chrissinger
Chief Sales and Marketing Officer

Karlyn Chrissinger is the Director of Sales, Marketing and Business Development for Customer Loyalty Concepts. Karlyn focuses on sales for the company, overseeing the marketing department and on new business growth.   Hired in 2009, Karlyn leverages her proven experience in marketing and sales.

Prior to joining Customer Loyalty Concepts, Karlyn co-owned and managed Infinity Real Estate from 2001 to 2008.  She established her career while employed with US West from 1987 to 1993, where she worked directly with small business clients from set up to billing.  The full spectrum of customer service provided the platform for her successful business endeavors.

Karlyn attended Oregon State University where she concentrated her efforts on business management. As a dedicated professional she continues to further her experience in the business world with continued education courses and through business networking. She is a member of numerous Denver organizations.  Karlyn currently resides in the Denver Colorado area with her husband and two daughters.

 

Lisa Martell
Director of Sales and Client Services

Lisa Martell is the Director of Sales and Client Services for Customer Loyalty Concepts.  Lisa’s primary focus is on the newspaper industry.  She works diligently to position her clients in the marketplace effectively and she consistently advocates for subscriber treatment which is optimizing customer retention rates.  Lisa is an expert at Client servicing.  Her ability to effectively manage the day-to-day activities of her clients, allows for the execution of their expansion and retention strategies.  Lisa was hired in 2007 and began her ascent to her current position by gaining practical experience as an agent. Lisa’s skills and understanding quickly became apparent and she was promoted to the sales team. Lisa’s ability to combine business concepts with her personal touch, care and real life insights has made her an incredible asset to the CLC team.  Prior to joining CLC, Lisa worked in several call centers for large health insurance companies. From 1998-2005 Lisa worked as a Claims Specialist for the Cleveland Clinic Health System in the managed care behavioral health department. The years of experience in call centers provided a great platform for understanding how a subscriber should be treated and the importance of retention strategies.

Lisa attended Cuyahoga Community College in Ohio where her efforts were in Business Management and Accounting. Lisa resides in Grafton, Ohio with her husband, son, daughter and five grandchildren.  In her spare time she enjoys camping, fishing and Geocaching.
